Increased thefts in December

We wish we didn't have to write this post, but we want to inform you about the current situation. Unfortunately, every December sees more thefts than average because thieves know that you are buying gifts for your loved ones and that valuable goods are lying around.
If you know you won't be home when a package arrives, we recommend using the Post App to manage delivery and select a different day or location.
Alternatively, you can also select shipping with signature and insurance at checkout.

This means that the postman can only deliver the parcel directly to you and you are insured against damage.
We also recommend that you check with your household contents insurance whether parcel theft is also covered. This is usually the case.
Please note that we can do little for you if a package is stolen and you have not chosen insured shipping or are not covered by household insurance. The postal service does not reimburse us for theft if the shipment was delivered correctly. Larger retailers, such as Galaxus, have their own comprehensive insurance policies, but their products also cost considerably more than ours and those of other smaller shops.
